Mobile Indigenous Library (MIL)

Luis Ramos came up with the idea to have a mobile indigenous library after learning that Princess Naomi  (native Indian of Inwood Hill Park) opened her home to wanderers who were curious to learn about Indian culture.

The library travels in a 10 year old metal cart with squeaking wheels that you can hear a mile away. All the books have been donated by lovely souls who believe in spreading the good word about indigenous culture and practices.

Some indigenous groups included in the collection are Native Americans, Tiano of Puerto Rico,

We are also in the process of building on our collection of books for young readers also!

If you would like to donate to the SEK library collection please email Luis: inwoodearthkeepers@gmail.com
